Do I need to submit a new application to be recognized by IAQG Authentication?”If you are an existing authenticated auditor, you are eligible for Existing Auditor Recognition until 27 August 2026. While this does have its own simplified application process, you do NOT need to apply for a new authentication unless you want to add a new AQMS standard or advance from Level 2 to Level 1. Complete the recognition steps for your existing authentications first prior to applying for changes.
What are the criteria to become an authenticated auditor?

What does it cost to apply?
Section titled “What does it cost to apply?”All applications are subject to a $500 USD application fee. IAQG Authentication must receive fee payment prior to processing the application. The fee is non-refundable, whether the application is approved or denied, so applicants are strongly recommended to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria prior to applying.
How long does it take for my application to be processed?
Section titled “How long does it take for my application to be processed?”Decisions on applications normally take 15 business days after all contacts complete the Auditor Experience Verification step. We will contact you if additional information is required or if the application is subject to additional reviews that extend the expected processing time.
If I apply for authentication during the OASIS freeze period, when will my authentication take effect?
Section titled “If I apply for authentication during the OASIS freeze period, when will my authentication take effect?”Authentications within IAQG’s OASIS database will be frozen from 18 June 2026 to 3 September 2026 to support the Existing Auditor Recognition Process. While IAQG Authentication will begin review provided applications, they will not be processed until after the freeze period. Newly approved authentications can be expected to take effect in early-to-mid September 2026.
