Terminating Authentication

Authentication to one or more standards may be terminated at any time, at the auditor’s discretion, by contacting IAQG Authentication. Termination requests should be considered effective immediately, though may take a few business days to be processed in OASIS. Auditors may also decide to withhold paying the Annual Maintenance Fee, and authentication will be deactivated automatically upon reaching the authentication’s expiry date with no further action required.

IAQG (including IAQG Authentication) also reserves the right to terminate authentication(s) at any time and at its sole discretion. Reasons IAQG and its authorized parties may choose to do so could include, but are not limited to:

  • Failure to complete ongoing authentication requirements
    • This includes recurring annual requirements for CPD and audit day completion by standard, annual maintenance fee payments, and any special one-time requirements imposed by the IAQG.
  • Failure to abide by the IAQG Authentication Code of Conduct
  • Disciplinary actions because of an investigation performed by the IAQG, IAQG Authentication, or related stakeholders

In the event authentication is terminated for whatever reason, refunds of any IAQG Authentication-related fee, including Application Fees or Annual Maintenance Fees, will not be provided

If you believe an authentication was terminated by the IAQG or its authorized parties in error (except for late/missed payments of Annual Fees within the reactivation window), please review our Appeals Policy.
