Supplemental Terms of Use – IAQG Authentication Program

Effective Date: June 1, 2026

1.1 These Supplemental Terms of Use (“Supplemental Terms”) govern access to and use of the IAQG Authentication Program website, systems, and services (the “Authentication Services”).

1.2 These Supplemental Terms are incorporated into and form part of the Plexus Websites Terms of Use (the “Primary Terms”). In the event of a conflict, these Supplemental Terms shall control solely with respect to the Authentication Services.

1.3 By accessing or using the Authentication Services, you agree to be bound by the Primary Terms and these Supplemental Terms.

2.1 Eligibility and Application

(a) Access to the Authentication Services is limited to individuals seeking or maintaining IAQG auditor authentication.

(b) You agree to:

  • Provide complete, accurate, and verifiable information;
  • Submit required documentation supporting eligibility; and
  • Ensure any third-party references have consented to verification.

(c) IAQG reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to verify, request additional information, approve, or reject any application.

2.2 Authentication Levels and Scope

(a) Authentication is granted based on defined levels and applicable standards.

(b) You acknowledge that:

  • Authentication applies only to approved levels and standards;
  • You may only perform activities within your authenticated scope; and
  • IAQG may modify authentication structures at its discretion.

2.3 No Guarantee

Approval, advancement, or continued authentication is not guaranteed, regardless of whether minimum criteria are met.

3.1 Compliance

You shall:

  • Comply with all applicable IAQG standards and requirements;
  • Adhere to the IAQG Code of Conduct; and
  • Cooperate with audits, reviews, and investigations.

3.2 Accuracy and Integrity

You shall not:

  • Provide false or misleading information;
  • Misrepresent qualifications or experience; or
  • Use another individual’s credentials.

3.3 Ongoing Requirements

You must satisfy ongoing authentication requirements, including:

  • Audit experience thresholds;
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD);
  • Required training or examinations; and
  • Payment of applicable fees.

Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination.

4.1 Application and maintenance fees apply and must be paid in advance.

4.2 All fees are non-refundable.

4.3 Failure to pay applicable fees may result in automatic deactivation of authentication status.

5.1 IAQG may collect and use information submitted through the Authentication Services for program administration, verification, and compliance purposes.

5.2 IAQG may monitor auditor performance and maintain related records.

5.3 Information may be shared with authorized parties as necessary for program operation and integrity.

6.1 User Termination

You may terminate your authentication at any time.

6.2 Automatic Deactivation

Authentication may be automatically deactivated due to:

  • Non-payment of fees; or
  • Failure to meet ongoing requirements.

6.3 IAQG Termination Rights

IAQG may suspend or terminate authentication at its sole discretion, including for:

  • Non-compliance;
  • Performance concerns; or
  • Violation of applicable standards or conduct requirements.

7.1 IAQG does not guarantee audit assignments, employment, or professional outcomes.

7.2 IAQG shall not be liable for any loss arising from authentication decisions or status changes.

7.3 All other limitations of liability set forth in the Primary Terms apply.

IAQG reserves the right to modify:

  • Authentication requirements;
  • Program structure; and
  • These Supplemental Terms.

Continued use constitutes acceptance of such changes.

These Supplemental Terms are governed by the same laws and jurisdiction set forth in the Primary Terms.

10.1 Data Collection and Processing

IAQG may collect and process personal data including identification details, qualifications, audit history, performance data, and payment information for purposes of authentication program administration, verification, and compliance.

Processing is based on contractual necessity, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.

10.2 Data Sharing

Personal data may be shared with:

  • IAQG affiliates and service providers;
  • Certification Bodies and authorized stakeholders; and
  • Regulatory or accreditation authorities.

Such sharing is limited to what is necessary for program operation.

10.3 International Transfers

Where data is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards will be implemented in accordance with applicable law.

10.4 Data Retention

Data will be retained as necessary to:

  • Administer authentication;
  • Maintain required records; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

10.5 Data Accuracy

You are responsible for maintaining accurate and current information.

10.6 Data Subject Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request:

  • Access, correction, or deletion of data;
  • Restriction or objection to processing; and
  • Data portability.

10.7 Security

IAQG implements reasonable safeguards but does not guarantee absolute security.

10.8 Investigations

Personal data may be used in investigations, performance reviews, and enforcement activities, and may be shared with authorized parties.

10.9 Precedence

This Section governs privacy matters specific to the Authentication Services.

By using the Authentication Services, you acknowledge and agree to these Supplemental Terms.
